PARTICIPATION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Participation in Pitstop Sunday (“Event”) is voluntary and subject to these Terms and Conditions

  • DO NOT SPEED coming and going

  • DO NOT rev your engines

  • DO NOT race

  • Respect the law travel within speed limits

  • Please respect other people’s property

 

Promoters reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who does not follow the rules.  

ASSUMPTION OF RISK, WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY

IN CONSIDERATION of being permitted to observe, attend, or participate in any way in the Pitstop Sunday (“Event”), the Participant:

  1. Acknowledges, agrees, and represents that he/she and his/her guests will conduct themselves with courtesy and consideration to the benefit of all hosts, attendees, participants, vendors and law enforcement.

  2. Hereby represents that the vehicle is properly insured under California State Law, and the driver is responsible for any misconduct or traffic related issues.

  3. Hereby accepts the risks inherent in the event and hereby agrees to release Event  promoters, sponsors, participants, associations, sanctioning organizations or any subdivision thereof, owners and lessees of premises used to conduct the Event, and each of them, their directors, officers, agents and employees, (all for the purposes herein referred to as “Releasees”), from any loss, liability or damage caused to the Participant or to the Participant’s personal property, including claims for negligence, which arise out of the participation in or travel to the event at the venue.

  4. Hereby agrees to indemnify and save and hold harmless the Releasees and each of them from all claims for loss, damage, cost, expense, fine or penalty, regardless of whether the same is also indemnified against by any other person, arising out of or in connection with the Participant’s participation in or travel to the Event at the venue, regardless of any omission or negligence of any of the Releasees.

  5. Hereby agrees that this Assumption of Risk, Waiver and Release of Liability extends to all acts of negligence by the Releasees, and is intended to be as broad and inclusive as is permitted by the laws of the state of California and that if any portion thereof is held invalid, it is agreed that the balance shall, notwithstanding, continue in full legal force and effect.

  6. Hereby agrees that any property damage to the venue as a result of negligent behavior or intentional misconduct by the Participant will be the sole financial responsibility of the Participant.

  7. Hereby agrees that his/her image and likeness (and vehicle image) can be used in all media formats without compensation or restriction.
